The BWD body-worn dipole is a tough, tuneable antenna with a balanced construction for increased performance at VHF and UHF frequencies.
It can also supply an alternative where conventional portable antennas cannot be used.
The wires are taped to a person’s body so that their appearance is
as discreet as possible. The antenna is worn across the shoulders and
down the back or over the lapel. Once in position, the antenna is tuned to the required
frequency so that optimal performance can be achieved; pre-tuned versions of the product are also available.
